ISAAA Releases Infographic on Biotech Crops Benefits

A new infographic featuring the contributions of biotech crops to sustainability is now available at the ISAAA website. It summarizes the important contributions of biotech crops in increasing crop productivity, conserving biodiversity, reducing agriculture's environmental footprint, mitigating the effects of climate change, and alleviation of poverty and hunger. Data presented were based on ISAAA Brief 46: Global Status of Commercialized Biotech /GM Crops for 2013 and Graham Brookes study on GM Crops: Global Socio-economic and Environmental Impacts 1996-2012.
