Global Status Report of GM Crops 2012 Presented in Japan

ISAAA's chair and founder, and author of the Brief 44 on Global Status of Commercialized Biotech Crops, Dr. Clive James was featured in a seminar in Tokyo, Japan. The Seminar was sponsored by the Council for Biotechnology Information Japan and attended by media, academe and industry representatives in TKP Otemachi Conference Center last March 6. Dr. Randy Hautea, global coordinator of ISAAA provided an overview of biotech corn commercialization and adoption in the Philippines.
Dr. Fusao Tomita, Director of the Nippon Biotechnology Information Center believes that this seminar would be a means to enhance awareness on biotech crops and its eventual adoption in the country.
